Our recruitment process

Our hiring process for all Labour Hire positions involves the following steps:

1. Register with us
All candidates must complete our registration form, outlining their specified area of expertise, referees, and other details, including previous experience, relevant personal information, and payment details.

2. Meet and greet Interviews
If our candidates are a successful applicant, we screen them initially via phone interview. From there, we will organise a face-to-face interview to meet them in person to get to know them and ascertain a further understanding of their knowledge and the roles they would best be suited to.

3. Our induction process
All Candidates that register with Budget Workforce must undergo our Induction Checklist.
We fully induct you by ensuring that you complete the following:

  • Manual handling training
  • Safe work practices
  • Incident reporting
  • Hazard identification

4. Checking of relevant documentation
We need to ensure that all our candidate’s licences are up to date and compliant in accordance with NSW SafeWork policies. All documentation is thoroughly checked by Budget Workforce.

5. Visa Checks
All candidates must hold a current and up-to-date VISA to be a Budget’s Workforce candidate, and this will be checked through Visa Entitlements Verification Online by us.

6. Reference Checks
We call previous employers and nominated referees to confirm all our candidates’ employment history and level of experience.
